1. Overview
HTTP Headers, Cache & IP Whois .DZ is a Chrome extension designed to help developers, webmasters and technical users inspect the network behavior of websites they visit.
The extension analyzes HTTP and navigation information locally in the browser to provide diagnostics such as response headers, HTTP status, cache status, redirects, TTFB, Service Worker information, IP/hosting information and domain WHOIS data.
2. Information processed by the extension
To provide its diagnostic features, the extension may process information associated with the websites you explicitly visit and inspect, including:
- Website URLs and hostnames involved in HTTP navigation and requests.
- HTTP response status codes and response headers.
- Cache-related headers and cache indicators.
- Time to First Byte (TTFB) and related request timing information.
- Redirect chains and navigation events.
- Service Worker controller, script URL and scope information.
- Server IP and infrastructure information returned by external lookup services.
- WHOIS/RDAP domain information requested by the user through the extension.
- User interface preferences such as language, theme and font size.
HTTP headers may contain information such as Set-Cookie values. The extension can display such headers when they are part of the captured HTTP response. It does not use the Chrome Cookies API to build or maintain a separate browsing profile.
3. Local processing and storage
HTTP diagnostics are processed within the extension and its browser context. The extension does not send captured HTTP diagnostics, browsing history or analyzed website data to a Kreo-operated analytics or telemetry server.
User preferences, such as language, visual theme and font size, may be stored locally using Chrome's extension storage facilities so that the interface can retain those preferences.
The extension does not require an account, does not require registration, and does not maintain a remote user profile.
4. External services
Some features require an external service to resolve information that cannot be obtained directly from the extension. When you use one of these features, the relevant hostname or domain may be sent to the service required to return the requested information.
plugin.myip.msUsed to obtain IP, ASN, hosting and related network information.
dns.googleUsed for DNS-over-HTTPS queries such as SOA and nameserver resolution.
api.nic.dzUsed to obtain WHOIS information for .DZ domains from the relevant registry service.
rdap.orgUsed to retrieve registration information for supported international domains.
5. Tracking and advertising
The extension does not contain advertising, behavioral tracking, cross-site profiling, or an analytics system designed to monitor users' browsing activity.
Kreo does not sell the information processed by the extension and does not use it to create advertising profiles.
6. Data retention
Kreo does not maintain a remote database of the HTTP diagnostics or browsing activity observed by the extension.
Information displayed by the extension is used for the diagnostic session and for the features explicitly requested by the user. Interface preferences may remain stored locally until they are changed or removed through the browser's extension storage mechanisms.
7. Data sharing
Kreo does not share captured browsing or HTTP diagnostic data with advertisers, data brokers or analytics providers.
The only external transmissions performed by the extension are the feature-specific requests described in Section 4, such as sending a hostname or domain to an IP, DNS or WHOIS/RDAP service in order to return the requested technical information.
8. Security
The extension is designed to minimize remote data handling. Diagnostic processing is performed locally whenever the requested information can be obtained from the browser's network context.
No system can guarantee absolute security, but the extension does not maintain a Kreo-side repository of users' captured browsing or HTTP data.
9. Children's privacy
The extension is a technical developer tool and is not directed specifically at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Kreo-operated backend.
10. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension's functionality, data practices or external services change. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when a new version of the policy is published.
